Questions

What does Fraudex check?

Two things: whether an IP address belongs to a VPN, proxy, Tor exit, datacenter or bot network, and who issued a card from its first 6 to 8 digits (the BIN): brand, type, bank and country.

Can it catch residential proxies?

Yes. The blocklist includes networks run by residential proxy services, which route traffic through home internet connections to look like real users.

How fast is an IP check?

Under 1 millisecond. The whole IP-to-network database sits in memory, so there are no disk reads or outside calls per request.

Does it support IPv6?

Yes. IPv4 and IPv6 each have their own database, and the version is detected automatically.

Is there a free plan?

Yes: 100 requests with network and country lookup. The VPN and bot verdict (is_bot) starts on the Pro plan at $30 a month. See pricing.

Which languages can I use?
